Guys, this is strange.
1. I downloaded Limewire - happy with it until I went to wikipedia and read an article on their secret code, DRM, RIAA, and it all takes me 3 seconds to uninstall the thing! 2. Then, next thing is Frostwire. Open - free and no restrictions. I downloaded and installed it proudly. Yeah, this is it, I thought. 3. Execute the installer, execute the program and VOILA.. there goes LIMEWIRE ??!?!?! Yes, you are right! I always get LIMEWIRE front-end everytime I execute FROSTWIRE, although I have uninstalled LIMEWIRE. I keep getting it, no matter how hard I click FRONTWIRE.EXE. I thought it was only the shortcut link, then I tried to go to the target, and execute it. STILL, Limewire opens.. Please HELP me! I want to try Frostwire! regards, Horasi |

This question arose before.. in this thread :- http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...=&pagenumber=2
and if you are using Linux it seems identical ... a possible miss-packaging Try going to Help or Limewire/Frostwire ?About and see if it says Frostwire or Limewire. I guess if it says Limewire, we'll have to think again. I should point out that DRM restrictions have not yet been built into Limewire (4.10.0) and it is unclear when they will be. |
