FrostWire the Mr. invisible man

Can anybody tell me why my FW doesn't show up on the Activity Monitor on Mac OSX Panther. Is it because I'm running it from a different HDD? This is version 4.9.x http://bestsmileys.com/cool/1.gif
If it's due to Activity monitor not able to show apps running from other drives, then that's a concern.

Edit: Ah ... after copying it to my apps folder on OSX, it does indeed show on the monitor window. Perhaps I should delete this thread. :o

AFAIK all OSX apps had to be installed on the startup disk (with the exception of carbon apps.) But nowadays newer versions of OSX apps are starting to allow you to install elsewhere. I suspect also permissions or ownership of the drive makes a difference. I had problems running LW 4.10 from a partition which is owned by the system (I should change that whilst I think of it), whereas another partition I use for OSX apps is owned by me. I'm glad I own my own computer.
