spybot has permanently blocked Limewire from my system

can anyone help? I recently downloaded Spysbot and ran the program, it cleaned the system but ever since I haven't been able to run Limewire. This is driving me crazy, can someone please shed some light on the issue ?

That's a bit weird. I've been using Spybot for ages & it's never had a problem with either FW or LW (this is the Frostwire forum!!). Is your LW an official version (ie did you get it from www.limewire.com )??

Scam versions may have some added (unwanted) extras that Spybot would pick up;)

there are scam versions of spybot as well
(not that spybot legitimately is all that great).

there should be an undo function within spybot

spybot has permanently blocked Limewire and frostwire from my system

ok so this is the deal, I had Limewire on my computer running sweetly from lime wire.com. i then run a spybot search and destroy, after which i was never able to run limewire again. i tried everything even removing spybot from my system, so when I came across Frostwire it was happy days. The problem is it still will not run on my PC, i'm able to download it and install it, but can't run it. The funny thing is I've got morpheus, bearshare and Kazza working fine (killing my system!!). I just don't understand and its driving me CRAZY. Please have some compassion and lets get to the bottom of this as a community !!!

I have never seen this problem with spybot before (i have also never used it). If you are having problems with it, dump (uninstall) spybot and get Ad-Aware. It is what most of us use. And I have never had any problems with it. http://www.lavasoft.com/software/adaware/
