please help, why won't frostwire start?
 

ok thanks for all the tips, i've downloaded frostwire from the official site removed spybot from my system and then ran it. Nothing happened. for the love of god why won't it run, i've tried so much, there is no reasonable explantion!!. if anyone has any advice please present it in layman terms, a step by step guide if you will, it's getting to the point where i'm considering blanking my hard drive and starting again. Are there any reasons why frostwire/limewire can be blocked by the pc ? help birdy, your my only hope!!:confused

My suggestions would be:

1. Go to Add/Remove programs control panel & remove Java.

2. Downld the "Offline" java installer here Java 1.5 (take the JRE) & then install it.

3. Delete your LW preferences whilst LW is CLOSED; instructions here: Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included.)

4. Make sure your firewall is properly configured to allow LW or FW to work with full access, & also make sure your modem/router has UPnP enabled (else you'll need to manually forward a port); instructions for all of these here Connection problems? Check here first! (click on link)
