Default Just a question

I'm relatively new at this stuff but have been a user for limwwire for bout two months...
So,frost wire:is there a way to make it appear on start-up cause even if i do check the box that says "Run on System Startup",it won't appear.
Also when i started using limewire,is there a way to prolong the searches?Cause I have to get back to it every couple of minutes as it seems to stop searching...

The first thing I'd do is to run msconfig (or msconfig32 on XP) using Start/Run, hit the "Startup" Tab and see if Windows has it on the startup list. If it's there be sure to put a check-mark in the box to its left. If it's not, maybe something's wrong with the setup/installer program and you should consider downloading a new one to use.

If it's on the msconfig startup list, try right-clicking on your taskbar at the bottom and see if there's a check-mark beside the program on the drop-down menu. Maybe it's on your taskbar, but you haven't activated it to show.
