What port do use to listen on?

I deleted the listening port as I tried to use 6349 - but it doesnt work. I thought it was 11523 but this isnt working. I had it working yesterday so what is the problem now?

Also for the list of questions I cant answer all of them as I am not that technical! Help! This is now making me really angry. I really cant be doing with all this hassle. I am just un-installing it and going elsewhere. Far too much hassle.

:violin: :dontlisten: :blablabla: :horse: You can try any available legal port. Try one between 49152 - 65535 such as 64049.

The problem is probably either your software firewall or your modem/router but since you "refuse" to give us details, we really can't help you much more than what we have tried to. The forum rules specify you must detail your system & problem in detail as you agreed to the forum rules when you registered on the forum, & were shown a copy of the rules during that process which you agreed to. Forum Rules (click here)

But the problem might be your ISP. Since you haven't told us anything ... it's really anybody's guess. :shock1: Sorry we don't have ESP!  (Where's my crystal ball?!?!)

I wouldnt even know where to start giving you THOSE details. Thank you anyway but Frostwire is a pile of kak and a complete hassle so I have un-installed and went elsewhere.

Ps And I certainly did not join this forum to be patronised and spoken disrespectfully either. You may be the Computer wizard on this site but your people skills suck - and that is to "King" of the Rings.

Bye bye. As said we don't have esp & difficult to guess people's problems without "any" details about their set up. I don't even know if you're using windows or mac or linux. So what type of response do you expect really. Get real. At least you got a response on this forum. Many other forums they would simply have ignored your posts without sufficient details.

But I am sorry to hear you bought FrostWire from a scam site since the program is free. That was unfortunate.

dåmñ LOTR...you obviously don't remember that time I stated you could use my crystal ball anytime you wanted..sheesh..

You dont have ESP! Thats a shocker! Oh and FYI - I am happy that I paid SOMETHING unlike alot of freeloaders out there. Trust me I have had my moneys worth. Part of my guilt I am not going to even tell my credit card it was scam. It eases my guilt knowing I have at least paid something.

And it is Windows I am using - but I wouldnt have a clue answering the other questions. Yes I am admitting that I am thick when it comes to technical stuff about the computer. So go ahead - rib me. If it makes your ego feels better.

I am also sorry to have to un-install Frostwire but 6 months down the line I dont want problems especially when I am not technical enough to resolve them.

So, then why were you here in the first place,.....if not for seeking help??

For me, the question is whether you're thick in regard to computers or to societies......from your comments I assume the latter one.....

Can't you imagine that it is necessary to have at least some details and information to be able to help someone??

So, tell me.......how much help would you give someone coming here with such a comment....??

FrostWire is for free...end of discussion..if you paid for it, you were ripped of, and since a 2nd party supplied it they may very well have slapped on a few distastefull addons...

I am here because I still have the link to people answering my posts - who's the thick one?

I get a product and dont expect problems with it 6 months down the line. To me that is just shabby. You are equally just as rude and if I ever saw you face to face and knew who you were - I would slap your silly, geeky little chops. Get a life. No wonder you are always on here - because no one in the real world would have you.

What a shame I am deleting the link and wont be able to see what you have replied! I am away to my happy real life. :xirokrotima: Can you say the same? No? I didnt think so. :yahoo:
