Default Run FWire and LWire at the same time?

Stupid question (Still like advice before trying it) Can you run both frost and lime at the same time? or would it overload XP pro? CPU etc....
Maybe i'm just greedy !

It's not a good idea to run any p2p app at the same time...

From what I've read it can cause all sorts of different issues, like searching, speed, downloading and yes CPU...

You can do it though. They'll be sharing your bandwidth and cpu. They'll also use different ports, so you may need to allow exceptions through your firewall/router. Don't know if it'll cause any unwanted side effects.

None that I know of. But you will need plenty of CPU / Ram and bandwidth to do it. I have run LimeWire/FrostWire/Azureus all at the same time with no problems. But I am not using any factory built machine either.

Thanks one and all, I think I can just about manage CPU and Bandwidth, have router, so have port forwarded (To same port) for both LWire and FWire does this matter?
Thanks for replies,

They can both use the same port, just not at the same time. So if you want to run both at the same time they'll have to use different ports. If LW's port is in use, it'll pick another port on it's own. I imagine FW does the same.

Use uPnp but you should be able to set up port forwarding on multiple ports through your router. I can set up 10 on my Linksys.
