Problems with frostwire 4.13.3 Hi folks. I recently downloaded Frostwire 4.13.3. So far, after numerous attempts i am only able to download movie files, of which the one i tried took an hour to DL. My system specs are: Processor - AMD Athalon 2800 Free HD space - 40.5 GB RAM - 786 MB Operating System - Windows XP Home Edition. Modem - USB ADSL Speedtouch ISP - BT Internet (British Telecom) Service - Broadband supposedly 6.2 Mbps but i doubt it It downloads a movie file at anything between 6 - 12kb/s, as far as other file types i.e apps or the like, it can connect but just does nothing after that. If anyone has any suggestions i would be grateful. Thanks!. |
Make sure you are allowing Frostwire through (via. ports and firewall) and check your speed is "Turbo-Charged" |
I've configured my internet connection to allow other networks in, but im not entirely sure how to configure my firewall or in what way. Thanks anyway though :) |
Type in your static IP to your IE address bar and then allow the DMZ :) To find your static IP, type: /ipconfig all in the C prompt ;) |
OK, well, on Frostwire chat, go to the room: #support and type ?connect Follow the instructions carefully :) |
Tried that chat room, no response to my questions lol. Okay it says i am using Port 3463 in the Frostwire options, but i dont know how to confirm whether or not my firewall (McAffee) is open or not. I also typed in my static ip addy into the IE address bar and all it did was respond with an google search error. Any help on how i can find out if my connection is configured properly would be much appreciated :-) |
I recently downloaded Frostwire 4.13.3. My operating system is Microsoft Vista. When I open Frostwire after a few seconds it freezes and there is nothing I can do other than restart my computer. Is there a conflict here? Please help. |
