Dumb girl-please help!!!(Switched from LW to FW, Connection Problems)

Ok,I changed from Limewire to Frostwire today.I got it downloaded no bother,picked a few things to download and was quite happy,thank you very much!However,I went back into it later and I was getting the message that I had to check my firewall and frostwire was still connecting.This was the same problem I had with Limewire!The downloads I have are downloading,but everytime I do a search I get the still connecting message.I checked my firewall exceptions and it allows both Limewire and Frostwire,so I m stuck,dunno what to do nextIm on windows xp,my bars are red except the first one which looks dark blue,and get the starting connection message next to it,also have the world with the wall in front.Please,if you can help make it simple,Im quite good with my computer,but when I looked the thread at the top here I was confused.
