If your Internet connection is paid for by your boyfriend's employers then any action, on your part, to circumvent the restrictions put in by Cox could get your boyfriend into trouble.

You see, your boyfriend's username and password, which I presume you use as well, identifies your boyfriend and his employers to Cox. And as shown in the recent past, Cox will not hesitate to send a warning email/letter to the person (or persons) that pay the bill.

Just something to consider before taking any kind of action.
