Few big files in frostwire

Frost is awesome to download songs, as fast as limewire (or more), but when I search for videos all I get 10mb videos which are spam, no big videos. Can I correct this?

i think its exactly the same as limewire. i get same connections, same download speeds with both, well it was the same when i HAD limewire. anyway, are you getting a red brick wall [firewall] in front of the globe on the bottom left screen??? that's the only way i don't get any video results, and very limited .mp3's..

No, no firewall problem. Just lots of spam.

Try some of the tips here http://www.gnutellaforums.com/limewi...ind-music.html which also applies to video. The Keyword filter can work well also if used carefully. Filtering out .mov files can help remove a % of video spam also.

LW 5 had a size filter which was useful.

If all you are getting is spam, then you can do the ultrapeer removal technique via the Connections window. ie: remove the longest connected one, let FW settle for a few mins, then try searching again. Repeat after 10 -15 minutes or so.
