The easiest way to do this is to exit the program then find your furi.hosts file. Edit it and add these two entries at the top:

router.limewire.com:6346
gnutellahosts.com:6346

After that wait for a couple of connections to stay solid then start the trading!

With any text editor (i.e. Notepad or Wordpad).

I am also looking for the host files. I have located a host.dat file in connection with the program that I have downloaded - Newtella - but this dat.file cannot be edited in Notepad. I have used the search-function in Windows and cannot find any other host-files connected with Newtella. Any suggestions for me?

Kindest Regards

Install your Furi program and run it. After it starts and tries to connect exit the program. Go to your directory where you installed Furi (windows default c:\program files\furi) and there you will find the furi.hosts file. Edit it with any text editor such as notepad and place at least these two lines in the file:

router.limewire.com:6346
gnutellahosts.com:6346

Save and exit, restart Furi. In the hosts detected field your new entries will be at the bottom as the Furi defaults always take the top spots. Voila! Remember you must run Furi at least once after installing or the furi.hosts file does not exist, it is created at initial runtime.
