It depends on the Java Virtual Machine. The JVM is the program really executing the Java Bytecode on your machine. I don´t know if Sun already released a stable JVM for Mac OS-X but if they did you will most likely find it at java.sun.com . And even if there is no version out yet I am pretty sure you will find some information concerning Java and Mac OS-X there.

Bye,
Konrad

Konrad is a good guy but miss led when it comes to macs. Ready to run Phex on os X natively? Go to <a href="http://homepage.mac.com/macxster/pagenow.html">macXster</a> and download the latest version of MacPhex. I’m working on a step by step how to but for know just run it like on os 9.
Email me at macxster@mac.com if you have any questions.

Konrad,
Mac OS X has EXCELLENT Java support built right in. In fact, it's very likely that Mac OS X has better support for Java than ANY other platform.
