My Host Speed

Hi

Under "Network Setup", there's an option named "My host speed". What should I set that to?
(Okay, it's quite obvious, that it should be my upload rate, but in which unit? kbit/s, KByte/s or something completely different?)

Other speed params

There are a number of speed parameters in Phex, and I'd love to know what each one affects. Especially since I'm on an extremely-asymetric DSL line (128k up, and 512k down). I've noticed that if I get close to filling my uplink (about 100kbps), all connections slow to a crawl. That is to be expected when TCP ACKs can't get back out to the internet.

On the Network Setup panel, there is both My Host Speed(KBytes/s) and Maximum Bandwidth(Kbytes/s). Does the Max BW parameter only affect search connection traffic, or other things as well? Presumably My Host Speed become the Host Speed reported to others, but does it cap any U/L or D/L limit? If it just becomes the speed reported to others, should I set it to my Sharing Max BW?

On the D/L and Sharing Setup menus, there are Max BW settings as well. Do those actually limit what Phex will allow for file transfers? Do they override the settings in the Network Setup panel?

So many questions, so little documentation...
