 Yes you are right... it's no problem to delete the vendor name. We are checking the vendor name since 0.7.2 since there have already been problems with 0.7.1. But it seems like there are still some strange vendor codes that pass the test... These must be faulty or not official clients. Vendor codes must be in ISO-8859-1 character set and 4 chars long when following the specification... Gregor
