java.lang.OutOfMemoryError in phex 0.74
 

hello all.

I use (or try to) phex 0.74 on os2.
I have the Java 1.3 installed (java 2) but I get the java.lang.OutOfMemoryError message.

Does someone know what's the problem???

ooooops sorry. It is ver 0.73

Happens at 074 too
 

And no great surprise for every MB you still have to download it makes at leat one object representing its XML entry probably with its name and more ...
Some kind of unefficiency future versions will surely eliminate again ...

This could always happen with a Java runtime, you can use startup options to set the maximum Java heap size (64M is default), start phex as follows:
java(w) -Xmx256M -jar phex.jar
in your unix shell or Windows command line. On Windows you can make a shortcut of your phex.jar and change its command line, so the doubleclick action still works.
