Phex uses wrong IP on mulithomed machines

Hi,

0.8.0.33

I'm using Phex on a W2K machine.
I have more than one IP address (local, and an external - ie. 10.0.10.10 and 62.253.123.123)

Unfortunately, phex defaults to 127.0.0.1 which is useless, cos you can't get outside connectivty on that, hence it fails to find any servers.

Other similar programs mysteriously find the correct IP address to use. (Perhaps look at possible IP's for host and select most intelligent, filtering out tings like 127.*)

Regards,
Jon

Hi Jon,

This is on the list of improvements. In the meantime, does Phex work for you as long as you enter the correct IP in preferences?

Hi Randy,

Yes, if I go to Firewall/Proxy and
enter my IP in the "Export Host IP as" it appears to work.

Regards,
Jon
