 HTTP based UIs would need to be much more static. Its not easy to handle updates like new arrived search results and display them in time. Think about how much stuff changes every second in the current Phex UI. And how much HTTP traffic this would create to update in time. That is very hard to handle all that. Only if you would accept much much slower updates. Gregor
