How to delete past search items

How do you remove items from search term drop down? (not the searches box)

It remembers if you exit and enter... I didn't see a log file but I assume there must be one somewhere?

Thank you in advance

You cant delete them from the user interface. The search terms are stored in a configuration file called phex.cfg.
Where the file is stored depends on your plattform. Windows uses c:\Documentation and Settings\UserName\phex
Linux uses $HOME\.phex
