Shareaza Link in Phex?

Is there any way to use the Shareaza Links (magnet-Links) in Phex.
How to start them?

Thanks

No. / Not at all.

Is this something that you feel is really a neccessary feature that Phex must have?

I don't think it's necessary, but it would be nice. Keep up the good work!

I think Magnet Links are really a must have. But please don't call them shareaza Links. Magnet Links where there before Shareaza, and they have nothing to do with Mikes Protocol.

Just look here in the cathegory file-magnets: http://gnufu.net

Magnet Links offer a connection between web-pages and Gnutella, and they allow you to find files, without having to rely on searching (very important, for there are quite some fake files coursing through Gnutella, because some companies are being paid for getting those into the network). For popular files, the best chance to get them is a magnet-link (can almost never be corrupted. That's a 0.01% almost).

Phex could support them in a cut-&-paste dialog, maybe?

Good to see a new face in here...

We did some tests for Macintosh-Support of magnets, and they are definitely on the ToDo-List (I only supplied the compiling-machine and served as a kind of remote-keyboard-input-method :) (And did some browsing of the Source-Code...) ).

Following information from Gregor, they will definitely be integrated, but not in the next release (else it would be postponed again, and I assume nobody wants that, especially not with the new features in there... no, I won't say more :) )
