Linux Newbie needs Help

Hello

Well, i got sick of trying to figure out how to install LimeWire so i thought id give Phex a try....
heh heh
I downloaded 0.5.2 & unzipped it.

Changed my directory to where i unzipped the files & typed
java -jar phex.jar in a terminal window

I was told by my terminal :

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: phex/splashWindow
at java.lang.reflect.method.invoke(Method.java:native )
at kaffe.jar.ExecJarName.main(ExecJarName.java:70)
at
kaffe.jar.ExecJar.main(ExecJar.java:59)

Since i do not speak Linux yet, i need a translator

! help.... : )

Hmm, thats interesting are you using Kaffe? If you are, I dont think phex works with it (I believe it only works on the Java2 platform, which Kaffe is using older libraries), you would have to uninstall it (if you can) and/or install suns JVM...
