can't connect to phex (and gnucleus)

i can connect to the gnutella network with shareaza and bearshare
very quickly .

but i can't with phex & gnucleus.

isn't it strange??

i tried also with no firewall to be sure.

i use win xp pro with sp2.

That story about the need to patch the tcp max num of connections of sp2 is just a legend, isn't it??

Thanks in advance. Walter

No., SP2 limits the max connections to ten this isnīt really much for P2P. Windows 98 for example is able to handle 100 connections, and I managed to establish around 280 connections with Windows 2000.
