Default No Disk Error

I've recently been getting a No Disk Error from java when starting Phex. I've narrowed it down to a problem with the library. It seems that Phex looks at all my disk drives and tries to read from them all regardless of what I have specified as shared directories in the library. When i click on the library tab, the errors begin coming up repeatedly.

Specs
========
- java 1.55.0_02.
- Phex 2.4.2.86
- WinXP Pro SP2

phex tries to read removable media drives (and maybe unmounted network drives). i have tons of them, so i get the error ALOT (like 10 times) on start up and while browsing the library... so its pretty damn annoying lol

I get the same error. I have both an external usb drive (offline much of the time) as well as a usb carder with established "drives" for sd, compact flash but that are generally empty.

Default NO DISK ERROR

It's a flash card reader drive. It has about 4 different types of drives in the bay. I get a total of 7 errors... each one displays twice (so i get 14 messages, but 7 unique errors) In all, I have 7 different removable drives. Two burners, one floppy for decoration and the 4 flash drives.

The next Phex release should not display this error anymore. The Library was changed to only display shared dirs and not the whole file system.
I hope this will also solve the problems for you.

Ok, so i'm confused... You changed Phex so the library wouldn't display the whole system, but as it is right now... in order to share a directory, you have to use the library.

How will directories be shared if not through the library?

There will be a separate directory chooser like you have it in the options to select a download or incomplete directory.

I attached a image...

And please if you run over problems that keep you from using Phex, please notify me about it, often I'm not aware of them.
