Not connecting, ver. 0.5.6
 

Installed version 0.5.6 on 28th. Worked great at first. Second time running it, no connections, at all. Reinstalled previous version, now it doesn't connect either. Any suggestions? Fixes? Anyone else have this happen?

Lot's of people have "hostcache problems"
The one that always works for me is Gnufrog it's a manual hostcache, just copy and paste the adresses they provide (this usually works in 2 or 3 tries)

Me too. First time was great. Haven't been able to connect since. I'll try the cache idea and see if it works.

Well, looking at GnuFrog helped. I tried copy and paste as was suggested, but paste doesn't work in Phex.
Found out what you have to do (Please correct me those that know better) is to manually type in your Address in the "My Address" box, and then highlight all the addresses in the host catcher and press "Connect".
This doesn't seem to be the best way to run a program, but it worked for me. Had to manually reconnect about every 20 minutes or so. It drops the addresses that disconnect, but doesn't pick them back up, or check for new ones automatically. If there's a better way, I'd like to hear it!

you can past into Phex if you press CTRL-v in the address box.
Actually you are right. This is not the best way to run a program.
The problem is that many of the AutoConnect Host are overloaded. If you find some hosts that are often online I recommend you to add them to your AutoConnect host list.
Phex always checks for new addresses and stores them. But you need to have running servers that provide new addresses when you connect to them.
In the next release there will be a little improvement for the host catcher. But the main problem is still the lack of auto connect hosts currently.
