Download from Phex freezing in Frostwire

I have a curious problem. I am using Frostwire at present and trying for the second time to download a 114 MB mp3 file from a host who is using Phex 2.6.4.89.
The download starts and after a few minutes it freezes. In my download window it says Speed 4KB/s Time 7:38:53 Progress 0% in fact in the library it says 512 KB has been downloaded (which is roughly 0%) :). I have another download coming from another host ... no problem. This same thing happened to me a week or so back when the ammount downloaded reached 384 KB so I have made a little progress today!. I have never ever seen this before, and I have before never tried to download from Phex using Limewire or Frostwire.

Several minutes later I confirm that the download readings are the same, as is the size of the downloaded file in my library.

Any ideas?

Hmmm... not sure... no idea...
I know I fixed some upload bugs for 2.8 related to THEX hash but that might be something different.

I might do some local tests with Frostwire. Or if you have some time and like to help you might also like to try it localy.

Gregor,

This is the only Phex host I have managed to connect with on Limewire or Frostwire. I found a normal size mp3 from the same host yeserday and the exact same thing happenned, so it may be an isolated problem with that host, but what I don't understand is why the display for the downloads actually ssems to freeze. It does not just say need more sources, or drop to a download rate of zero, as usually happens when a download runs into trouble.

Unlike Phex, where you can search for a Vendor. in Frostwire/Limewire This is not possible.

I shall continue to check on this, but today I'm using Phex:)
