Bug in Phex 0.6? hi! First of all: I like phex very much and i can live with the new network behaviour if it helps save the gnutella community. But i have a problem: Sometimes i cant enter any new searches because the GUI does not let me. iit ignores just any keystroke i do in the search-entryfield. this behaviour also sometimes apear with the passive-search entryfield. any hints or workarounds? This is a known problem on Linux systems. Is that right?? Maybe using the newest Java version helps. Gregor |
I'm experiencing this problem since 0.4.6 when I started using phex. It doesn't happen so offen since 0.5 but it's still there. I don't know the reason. Before I had to restart phex. Now it repairs itself after some time (?). Sometimes it allows me to enter only one letter per click into form. And the after an hour or two everything works perfect again. Real mystery... I'm running Phex on Debian Linux with Blackdown Java 2 Runtime Enviroment. J. |
Are you using the latest version j2re-1.3.1-FCS? It's not that the problem dosn't exists with this version ;-) Just asking since Phex is officialy only for Java 2 v1.3 and runs with some problems on v1.2 Gregor |
I forgot to write it. It's 1.3.1 J. |
