Did Phex ever use Gnutella v0.5 handshaking?

I never heard anything of a Gnutella v0.5 handshake. Phex supports the Gnutella QHD extension. This was called v0.5 AFAIK. But it was used with the 0.4 handshake to maintain downward compatibility.
