Why does the Phex website have XXX banners?

Why Does the Phex website have porn banners, it's bad enough to have porn on the gnutella network. Are the developers supporting it too now?

No I'm not supporting it but to keep the website up and be able to finance the hosting and traffic costs I had to agree to put banners up, sorry...
I can try to get ride of the porn banners and look how the costs are developing. But they reduce the rate I need to pay a lot more then none XXX banners.

'Bad' is a relative term; I'm sure that most males, aged 18-45 are quite happy about it ;-) Of course, you could always suggest that Phex incorporate an (optional) adult content filter; the Gnutella program Xolox had one; their website is http://www.xolox.nl but they've stopped updating it because of lawsuit fears.

According to http://www.geeknews.net/print.php?sid=593 the Xolox team is considering releasing their source code; if they do and you ask nicely, I'm sure the Phex authors might consider adding that feature ;)
