I disagree for sure on the KB issue it is important sometimes to see that exact byte number to find and recognize more likely identical versions

IMHO, the option to view bytes should always be available, though some setting to view other ways might be nice. Wheras currently a set of files in the search window would be listed (under Size) like this:

67502080
373530

(right aligned, of course)

Some alternatives which might be nice to see:

separation with periods or commas (Europe/North America)

2.862.120.963
67.502.080
373.530

2,862,120,963
67,502,080
373,530

KB:
