New Phex splash screen
 

So, I just started using Phex today ... gotta say, it's a great program. But I'm not a big fan of the splash screen, so I made my own. Here she is if anybody else would like to use it:

Simply replace phex.jar/phex/resources/splash.png with the above. The source Photoshop document is available upon request. Comments welcome. :licklips:

Still I'd like to add it to our material section in svn, along with the photoshop source, if you'd allow us to put it under the GPL (we need any source material under free licenses).

Yes, I admit, it does not adhere to the main theme of Phex. I wasn't a fan of that theme (the whole fox thing), so I made my own for personal use (how sad is that ... all that work for a personal 4-second splash screen). But then I thought maybe somebody else would like it as well. Here's an I2Phex version:

The I2Phex version is included in the same file ... just hide the I and 2 layers (and reshow 3) to save a Phex version. Fonts used are OCR A Std and Courier New (I didn't rasterize any of the text so it can be edited later on if/when needed (ie 3->4). You're free to file it under a GPL license. :)

dubQ, if you like you can create a whole Phex theme... including icons and without foxes and stuff...
I think it will find somehow a way into a Phex release as an optional theme.

And if enough people like it more than the old one, the theme could also become the default Phex theme.
