Sharing Exclusion Problem

If I'm not the first to post this, my apologies.

I've been running Phex (on Windows98) for several versions and I know that it reuses the old settings, so let me know if there's something that i need to change or if this is a known issue that will be resolved soon.

In the current version (0.6.2) when you go:
settings -> Phex Options -> Download/Sharing Settings -> Directorys (typo BTW; should be "Directories"), there are two fields at the bottom which are filled out as follows:

Include Files: *
Exclude Files: bat,dot,exe,htm,html,lnk,vbs,xls,wps,wks

However, my Shared Files list still shows numerous instances of index.html files from those directories (which I definitely don't want to share). I tried replacing the * in Include files with a similar list "gif,jpg,mp3" etc. but after I rescanned the list all the index.html's were still there and when I went back into the settings, my long list of includes was replaced by * again!

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Please try to separate with ; instead of ,

Sorry that this is so badly documented...

[...] ^_^;

I changed the commas to colons, pressed OK and then pressed the Rescan button. No change. So I went back to the Directorys window again and it had changed all the colons back to commas!

I then tried changing the Include line from * to "gif;jpg;mp3", pressing OK and then Rescan. Again nothing and when I went back to the Directorys window, it had changed the Include line back to *

What should I try now?

This is a bug and will be fixed in the next release. Until then you can alter the configuration in your phex.cfg

Look for the keys mUploadFileExclusions and mUploadFileInclusions.
Change it to something like
mUploadFileExclusions = bat;dot;exe;htm

Thank you very much; that worked! :)
