Hello all, actually I have a couple clues about Linux (took Unix in college), but recently I'm having a horrible time getting downloaded programs to work - LimeWire, SeaMonkey (both worked fine under Windows XP, but can't understand why they won't work in Ubuntu 7.10. If you've an idea on how to counter this trend so I can get downloaded programs to work, please send me a line! Thanks ahead of time.

This is the Phex program section of the forums, as can be seen by looking at the top-left of the page ... the name & logo. ;)

But you could still give Phex a try and see, if it works for you :)
