cant get search to work Hello. Just installed Phex after many problems with lime wire....the installation went fine & Im connected, however, I cant get the search window to work.....any help would be appreciated.... thanks |
whats the problem with the search window?? |
search window It wont allow me to place a cursor in it to type a title. I click in it & it opens up the larger white space below, which im assuming is for previous searches...... should i just delete the whole program & start over from scratch? |
Yes this is supposed to only display previous searches. Is your window looking like this: http://phex.kouk.de/searchsc.htm If not then your screen is not displayed completly. You should have a upper half where you can enter the search term and press a Search button. What Java version are you using? Type 'java -version' into a command prompt to find it out. Gregor |
Java version is JRE 1.3.1_02 My search screen has a search button ...whic is not active...though I have active hosts....then the max search results, result filter etc., then the white blank line for searches with stop & remove on the right....then under that search results.....Im assuming that you put the search string into the blank .....am I doing this wrong? I know Im connected because someone is uploading from me, I just cant search....thank you for any help....it is appreciated =) |
