first of all: yes, i'm a ****ing newbie
please help me!

i`ve got suse 7.3 with java2 1.3.1 running and tried to exec the phex.jar. in following way: (just like in readme)
java -jar phex.jar

but this param does not exist. do i have to compile that jar-file with javac or something? could somebody give me an instruction?

Make sure you are really using the mentioned java version. Some user are having problems with different java version in the classpath. Check 'java -version' and also 'which java' to determine the version and where the program is located. Make sure this is really the java you intend to use.
