i want to know something about the code

is phex opened for a while
it will no longer discover new host?

it has a limit of connection nums?

i want it to keep discovering new hosts.
i should get into gwebcache
then it could keep adding new hosts?

Please try the newest beta release
Index of /snapshots

During the first run it might take a few minutes until a connection is found, but if you use Phex regularly it will connect very fast during the following start ups.

To Gregork:
i've updated phex.

but i met a problem even harder....

the target of phex should be the shared files.
but may i change the target to search the target ip & port from gwebcache ?

Sorry I don't really understand your question.

You can't search GWebCache for ip and port. Phex is only using a GWebCache if its not able to connect in different ways through its internal host file or a UDP host cache.

so...phex do not have this funcion.
but is it possible?

i want to use the phex to do a search in the gwebcache by ip &port
this is what i want to do.

GregorK August 7th, 2011 11:13 AM

I think this is not really possible. The GWebCache Phex is using is only storing the newest I think 10 or 20 IPs and has seen. Older IPs are dropped.

i got it!
i will take the other way.

I actually don't understand the whole thing. I am not an expert in this area. That's why.
