I built a working cross platform Gnutella client. It is command-line only (like mutella or GTK-Gnutella in headless mode). As far as I know, it may be the newest Gnutella client in the last decade. It is available on Github as "Gnutella Bun Client". Please let me know what you think. This client is the result of my exploration of the protocol while learning its history.

It is mostly interoperable with GTK-Gnutella.

Just released v0.6.5 which is mostly just a cleanup release, but also adds many of the GWebCache URLs shared by GamerA1 earlier this month. Please see the release page for the latest version.
