BS-Trailer format

hi,
can anybody tell me why the BS-trailer is so long? (red data)

http://www.ewetel.net/~frank.baettermann/trailer.png

I thought it would only consist of 8 bytes?

Thanks

the private data has variable length

This is the format of the queryhit trailer:

bytes what
-----------------------------------------------------------------
0 - 3 Vendor code
4 Open data section size (integer)
5 - 6 Open data section
7 - N Private data section

In the example, "open data size" = 2; open data = "0x1C01"; private data is "0x1800...0C00".

The open data is described in the 0.4 protocol pdf and in the source of open-source clients.

Bearshare's private data is described in http://groups.yahoo.com/group/the_gdf/message/5845
