Crawler Pings

I have read in some articles that when a servant receives a crawler ping (with TTL=2 and HOP=0) it should respond with a pong for its own and one pong for each connection it has with other clients. These pongs can be produced by the servant that receives the crawler ping by the info collected in handsake or route the crawler ping to the other connections. In each case the pongs that are sent by me to the crawler and to the other connections what TTL and HOP should they have?

I dont know what you mean with Crawler Pings but
as far as I know you have to decrease TTL and increase Hop.
(Thats the thing you should do with queries.)

Crawler pings are used in pongcaching schemes to find with how many hosts a client is connected to.

I cant say more about them. They are explained in Limewires PongCaching scheme.

Any help?
