Hi folks i am very new to this board.
So hi i am michael from holland.

Well my question
Uhhmmm i accessed a HostCache connect1.gnutellanet.com.
I got a Mssg

Remote-IP: 213.22.23.187
GGEP: 0.5
FP-Auth-Challenge: 5DPC77G53LGOPHKNPPXI3TZSHUXT3IDS

I probably have to try all the other hosts behind X-Try

Well i tried one and i got a 200 replay (At last :)

GNUTELLA/0.6 200 OK
User-Agent: LimeWire 2.5.5
GGEP: 0.5
X-Ultrapeer: False
X-Query-Routing: 0.1
Listen-IP: 65.56.64.216:6346
X-Try-Ultrapeers: 209.193.47.74:6347,66.92.231.181:6346,209.83.85.25 2:6347,217.232.171.40:6346,80.116.205.52:6346,63.2 25.43.147:6346,24.210.213.149:20569,128.2.178.157: 6346,4.46.104.162:6347,12.218.26.138:6346
Remote-IP: 213.22.23.187
X-Try: 212.198.85.145:6346,24.136.73.225:6347,66.227.165. 103:6346,139.64.122.148:6346,24.138.69.131:6348,20 0.45.99.13:6346,68.20.182.41:6346,129.44.44.96:634 6,24.47.161.13:6346,81.56.93.163:6346

Well now where stands the X-Try here for (more host caches)
And the X-Try-Ultrapeers: stands for the the acces to real servers ??

Am i right ???

The second question is about the first header that returned
FP-Auth-Challenge: 5DPC77G53LGOPHKNPPXI3TZSHUXT3IDS
Do i have to replay on this with a MD5 .... something:confused:

The third question (wow)
On some hostcaches i connect and get disconnect before i can even send a header.
Some hosts do that (am i dooing some thing wrong here ???)

Well tnx guyz

the x-try headers dont stand for the access to real servers but for any other server you can add to your cache in case you cant find any hosts to connect.

in what language are you writing your client?

FP-Challenge-Auth stuff BearShare sent is just for internal use,
never mind that.
