Distributed Computing Over P2P Networks

Hi there!

I'm doing a master thesis on Distributed Computing Over P2P Networks.

I developed a open framework that will allow P2P file sharing networks to make Distributed Parallel Computing.

I'm developing a Gnutella client that implements this framework. I called it GnutellaHTC (High-Throughput Computing).

Interested ?

Take a look at: http://www.geocities.com/tiagonmas/ and please comment

I'd recommend Java.

PS: Macs are different and my premium choice. If they are better is to be found by the individual Users.

EDIT: I now use a Linux, as Apple tried a bit too hard to spoil the fun of their Catlikes. A more detailed version of this sentence can be found in my Blog: http://bah.draketo.de - Broken Apple Heart.

hi Tiago!

I am doing something very similar as master thesis. Be sure to check out http://gpu.sourceforge.net . I am ready to discuss with you the protocol for distributed computing. At the moment, my computational job requests travel disguised as file-search query, and this is not elegant.

I'd like to recommend http://sourceforge.net as free collaborative platform if you plan to open your source.

kind regards!

Tiziano
