running JTella

Hi everybody,

Has somebody run Jtella codes? I am having trouble running it. I have downloaded and compiled all the files. Then I tried to run SearchExample.java provided by jtella.sourforge.com. I compiled it, ran it with parameters

gnutellahosts.com 6346.

It just says it is connecting to Gnutella Network. It is unable to detect any other node.

Can somebody please help? Do I need to write some code myself to make it run

Thanks

Hey
I read your post on JTella APIs and I am facing the same problem. If you have figured out the solution for your problem please do share it with me.

Thanks

Forget Jtella it never worked anyway.

2 java opensource apps:
Phex (ok)
Limewire (very good)

On linux there is also GTK-Gnutella (very good)

The simplest of all is the gIFT Gnutella plugin thought http://sourceforge.net/projects/gift/ It is very basic and doesn't offer good performance on Gnutella.
