DOS Client in the works

It's called Gnudles (Noodles.) I'd say it's about 25% done. I'm using Macro Assembler with libraries done in C and built with djgpp. TCP/IP is done over packet drivers or compatible socket interfaces, and I'm enforcing compatibility with the following flavors and versions:

MS-DOS: 5.0+
FreeDOS: b6+
Windows 95/98 DOS mode: All Versions
DR-DOS: 7.03+

Wipe that smirk off your face! On the newest wintel machines, things run much faster in DOS mode, so I've decided to take advantage of that. I have a friend who will be releasing a really nice media player for DOS any day now, and I have a machine running DOS 6 on a Cyrix 486-DX33 hosting a BBS and a newsserver! It works great!

Search the net for "gnut", it's written in C and runs on Linux but is more console based (DOS as you know it). It may compile easy on DOS.
