Need help connecting to gnutella network

I have created a client but it want conect to the gnutella network .
I set up UDP-HostCache, Gwebcache, etc., but it still want connect.

Gwebcache - ran it and got peers but always get 503 even when
restarted (seems to be bogus to me)

UDP-HostCache - never get packed ipp pairs to connect

Is there not enough udp-hostcache servers?

Is the gnutella network dead?

:bangh:

One thought is you try a similar client that does connect well using that protocol & use the host cache from that in your client to get that initial connection. :)

Someone (maybe one of the devs), might be able to help you further with your process of seeking hosts to connect to. ;)

May I ask what kind of client it is. Which other client types it would be most similar to?

Tried that but all fail with other clients. example- limewire, phex, gnudna.

This is a csharp gnutella client.

You ask other client types it would be most similar to?
limewire, phex
