Acqlite

Hi I am using acqlite on mac osx leopard. I was basically downloading some songs. I went to downloads and clicked clear all. Now they are no where to be found on my computer! Surely there must be a trace somewhere. Even one movie I downloaded that I viewed in VLC has gone and not even in VLC recent documents. Is there a way of viewing the history of what I have downloaded? It seams strange it has dissappeared?
Thanks

Did you do this from the searches list or the download window?

Though Acqlite has many similarities to LimeWire. There are some notable differences.
In LimeWire 4 you could resume downloads you had stopped or cleared. I am not sure that is possible in Acqlite.

Take a look at your previous searches and try re-downloading the exact same ones. There is a chance the incomplete files still exist and Acqlite will resume them rather than start from scratch. You could also check to see that Acqlite still has them in its incomplete folder, which is inside the Acqlite download folder.

If you had finished downloading those files, then you will find them in your Acqlite download folder. Check that folder. Clearing them from the download window is simply removing them as being listed. There is an option to clear downloads automatically in preferences for example.
If you are not sure about the download location, go to the Acqlite preferences and click the Download tab, check the Save to location.
Normally what files you have downloaded during that session are found in the Downloads window. The Downloads window tab is bottom left of main screen.

Unfortunately Acqlite does not possess a library which shows files you have downloaded from other sessions. Nor does it say if or how many files you are sharing or a share window to show the files you are sharing. The only share option is in preferences to select a folder.

Acqlite search missing

Hi Lord of the Rings. I'm running Leopard and Acqlite 0.4.2. I have no place to type in what I am searching for. There is a drop down menu with Search New Files on the Network but it does not allow for anything specific. Thoughts pleas? From anyone?

I have the same version, simply go to View menu and choose Toggle Toolbar and the search box will come into view. :)

You can also save previous searches for alternative occasions. However Acqlite might do it by default.

''Lord of the Rings'' shared the reasonable solution. I Support it.
