Tutorial For Any Of The Sharing Software

Where can i find a good tutorial on how to use any of the sharing softwares on the internet. I download all of the software offer here and only Limewire, Bearshare works the other either does not connect to any servers or never let me download anything. No i am not behind any firewall though i admit i'am new at sharing software at this scale( with ports number and host). So if anyone can help please do.

1. There is no unspecific tutorial on sharing files.

2. You have found this newsgroup, thats GOOD! Here you will find most of the information needed.

3. It is quite normal that you īcanīt download any files. If you get search results your gnutella client is working perfectly well.

4. Use Furi, I just love this client (and I am in this filesharing thing for quite some time now).

I hope this helps you at least somewhat.

I know this sounds stupid, but I dont understand what all of these servers ect are about. I am used to using Napster for several months, or audiogalaxy and all you do is enter the song and/or artist and it does the work. What does this program do, if it has to work with something else. I am looking for alternatives to Napster since they will be charging soon. Thanks

http://www.limewire.com/article.htm explains how peer-to-peer file-sharing works.
