Ok, one of my friends is trying to get me to get Gnutella. Only problem is, you can't find Gnutella NEwhere, all you find is these clones that can connect to the Gnutella Network. But he has Gnutella itself. If I want to share files w/ him, can I just get NE of these clones and still share w/ him or what? What can I and can't I use??? And what happened to Gnutella??

Gnutella is now to be understood as a protocol for file-sharing, not a certain software. You can use any of the various gnutella-clients (preferably Furi) to enter the network.

The production of the original Gnutella software was hastily stopped by AOL when they realized what they had done.
