can't maintain any large download
 

When I am downloading a large file I lose my connections and cannot get them back.I can't even get a connection on internet explorer until I reboot my computer.This happens every time.Running 800 mhz T-bird 128 meg sdram.Please help if you can. Thanks

I have used limewire,gnotella and bearshare, they all do the same thing. No firewall, am on a cable modem, any ideas?

Sounds Like something in your modem handler. I would contact your Server Tech Support and see what they say.

Not fimular with non Mac stuff. When it fails can you stop the client (gnutella), and then try IEx, or try shutting down the connection to cable and restarting it (if thats possiable, I run a modem)
