Real safe substitute to Napster?

Hi! I wish to know, since i have a very large
library, if the fact of using "Bearshare" or
any other client doesn't get me "centralized"
or to put it this way, dangerously visible?
I'm looking at an alternative to Napster
and "jugling" to choose Gnutella or other...
Any reply can help me decide...

To put it simply, you are at no more risk while running Gnutella than you would be running Napster.
