Can't download

When using Gnutella I get hundreds of search results, but only about 1 out of 10 will work. The rest it just says 'error' or 'not found'. Also, at least about 50% of the search results have ip 192.169.*.* or 10.*.*.* or 172.16.*.* (in case you don't know, those ip's are not supposed to be accessible from the internet).

What I need is someone to tell me why I can only download from about 10% of the people, and if there is no solution, can you at least tell me how to filter out my search results so that I only get results from people who I will be able to download from. Thanks.
