Servent as an NT Service? I have three computers, hiding behind a Win2k software router. Gnotella works great on the three client computers, and I have been able to download tons of videos, audios, etc. etc. etc., but I feel bad that I cannot give back too easily because of my use of NAT on the client machines. I would like to run a Gnutella client on the server (the only machine with the public IP address) to share the files that I have downloaded on the client machines. Has anyone (or is anyone planning on a) simple Gnutella servent to run as a Windows NT service? This should have an .ini file for number of hosts to connect to and shared directories, one would think. I could try and shove a normal client into a server mode (I did it for Seti@Home), but I would rather stay away from such brutalizations. Ideas? -Simon |
